P. atlantica and H. perforatum have long been known for their anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative properties as an alternative medicine. This study evaluated the healing effects of extraction of P. atlantica and H. perforatum, on 5-FU induced oral mucositis in golden hamsters by histopathology, clinically, and anti-oxidative assessments.
