Immuno Histochemical Study of Osteosarcoma Using Ki-67 as a Labeling Index in Naturally Fluoridated Community-Juniper Publishers

JUNIPER PUBLISHERS- OPEN ACCESS  JOURNAL   OF DENTISTRY & ORAL HEALTH Immuno Histochemical Study of Osteosarcoma Using Ki-67 as a Labeling Index in Naturally Fluoridated Community Authored by   Abdullatef Nureddin Abstract Osteosarcoma is the most common primary malignant bone tumor which characterized microscopically by formation of osteoid or bone by the neoplastic cells (osteoblastic type) or production of fibrous tissue (fibroblastic type) and/or a cartilage (chondroblastic type). Ki-67 protein is present during all active phases of the cell cycle (G1, S, G2 and mitosis but is absent from resting cells (G0), makes it an excellent marker for determining the so called growth fraction of a given cell population. However, fluoride concentration in drinking water shows great variation between the costal-western region of Libya (mean fluoride concentration 1.38ppm) and Cairo-Egypt (0.4ppm). Therefore, the aim of this study is to evaluate and compare histopathologic

JUNIPER PUBLISHERS- OPEN ACCESS JOURNAL  OF DENTISTRY & ORAL HEALTH Minimally Invasive Implantology: Flapless Surgery   Authored by  Nissaf Daouahi Abstract In conventional implant surgery, the elevation of a muco periosteal flap can facilitate implant placement by allowing the surgeon to visually assess bone quantity and morphology at the site. In cases with limited amount of bone, a flap elevation can help implant placement to reduce the risk of bone fenestrations or perforations over the past three decades there have been several alterations to this flap design in favor of flapless implant surgery which has gained popularity among surgeons. Recently, the Concept of flapless implant, where the implant is placed without reflecting a flap, has gained popularity among surgeons. It has been introduced for the patients with enough keratinized gingival tissue and bone volume in the implant recipient site and the size of the surgical field corresponds therefore to the i

JUNIPER PUBLISHERS- OPEN ACCESS JOURNAL OF  DENTISTRY & ORAL HEALTH Use of Facial Indicator for Choosing Anterior Teeth (Female Arabs and Persians Students) Authored by  Maryam Alkaabi Abstract Background: The maxillary anterior teeth are important in achieving pleasing dental aesthetics. The size of the maxillary central incisors is important for they are the most prominent teeth in arch as individual is viewed from frontal position. Various methods are used to measure the size of them, including the size of the face determined from two points, zygoma and chin to estimate the width and height by using “facial indicator”. The average width of the maxillary central incisor is estimated to be one sixteenth of the face measured between the zygoma. Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the accuracy of a new device called “ facial indicator “ in choosing anterior teeth in dentulous patients of two different ethnic groups, Female Arabs & Non-Ar
